Amaia Salamanca was born on March 28, 1986 in Madrid, Spain. She defines herself as a very extroverted and open mind girl, with lots of energy
She became famous in Spain after start as Cata, the protagonist on the TV series “Sin Tetas no Hay Paraiso” and adaptation of the same series in the Colombian Television. She didn’t studied acting and this series was her first casting, she start without knowing much but she did learn very fast and in couple months became one of the most popular faces in pain Latin America.
She is now involved in serial projects and has acted in several movies that are coming out in 2009/2010
She is also popular with regard to her personal life, and has been linked to soccer players and actors from Spain, but nowadays she is single and enjoying her life, and her popularity.
